Sara Ali Khan celebrated International Women's Day by paying a heartfelt tribute to her mother, Amrita Singh and the Indian patriot, Usha Mehta.
The Bollywood actress shared a video of herself on Instagram, showering praise on the two inspirational women in her life.
In the video clip from Sara's appearance at Radio Mirchi 98.3, the actress said, "On the special occasion of Women’s Day, I want to talk to you about my favourite woman, and that is my mother."
"I draw my strength from her, she is my motivation, she is my whole life and I think that she is very important to me," the Love Aaj Kal 2 actress added.
Later, Sara heaped praise on the Indian patriot, Usha Mehta, for being a courageous and true patriot, who left her family at a very young age to dedicate herself to the independence of India.
Moreover, Saif Ali Khan's daughter urged women across the globe to stand up for their rights.
Alongside her video, Sara penned a meaningful note, "Always remember that each time a woman stands up for herself she stands up for all women."
"And also remember that bravery and strength come in all shapes and sizes. So just be you. Accept yourself. Believe in yourself. Embrace yourself. And then fly. Happy Women’s Day," she said.
