Radhika Merchant recently spoke about the extravagant three-day pre-wedding celebration for her and Mukesh Ambani's son, Anant Ambani in Jamnagar.
The opulent event caught attention worldwide, with Vogue US interviewing the couple about their attire, the lavish decor, and the exclusive experience.
The event reportedly cost of INR 1250 crore, which is a small fraction of Mukesh Ambani's immense fortune.
During the interview, Radhika acknowledged that such extravagance is a rare privilege for only a select few.
She said, "I recognize that this is a privilege few people experience, and I truly feel blessed, I hope that our wedding will bring global attention to Vantara."
"The largest animal rehabilitation center in the world, a project that my husband and I hold very close in our hearts,” she added.
Radhika also discussed arranging the event on a grand scale for thousands of attendees.
Talking about the second day, when the couple hosted a lunch at the Vantara Rescue and Rehabilitation Center's premises, Radhika said, “We went to great lengths to accommodate our 1,500 guests."
"Complete with an audio-guide system to ensure that everyone could connect with the animals that have been given a new lease on life here,” she added.
