Queen Camilla takes off from royal duties as part of ‘routine’?
Queen Camilla, King Charles III’s wife, doesn’t want to ‘interrupt the normal run of business’
Queen Camilla is on a break, and it doesn’t seem like a big deal for her.
The monarch took off from her royal duties raising eyebrows for taking a break at a seemingly unsuitable time, considering the ailing condition of King Charles while battling cancer, but this may not be that big of an issue.
According to a royal expert, the Queen “does regularly go on holiday this time of year”, and this may be a routinely off.
“So, part of it, may be, the royals are creatures of habit, they do have a routine, they do have a calendar,” the host of The Royal Report Jack Royston said of Camilla’s break.
He adds, “And their calendar is very important to them, and it may just be, that for Charles and Camilla, there’s no reason to interrupt the normal run of business.”
“She’d like to take some time off, because she is going to have some tough days ahead of her,” the expert said.
King Charles is currently undergoing cancer treatment, making weekly trips to London and recovering at Sandringham House.
