Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson seem to be taking their relationship one step further, with the Coldplay singer’s ex Gwyneth Paltrow’s support.
According to reports, the musician and the actress are “engaged”.
Martin, 47, reportedly proposed to Dakota, 34, “a while ago”, with full backing and blessing of his wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their children Apple and Moses.
The couple started their relationship six years ago, and have kept things pretty private ever since.
“The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles,” a source told The Mirror. “They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable.”
They added that Martin and Dakota “are in no rush to plan the wedding” and are “just enjoying making their commitment official.”
In light of this, last October, Dakota was spotted donning an emerald green ring on her wedding finger at her 34th birthday in Los Angeles.
Martin and Dakota were first spotted together in 2017, a year after Gwyneth and the singer’s divorce.
