The Euphoria cast is waiting on Zendaya to stay in one place long enough to start filming the highly-anticipated season 3 of Euphoria.
During a stand-up comedy routine at the Hollywood Improv Lab in Los Angeles, Nika King – who played Zendaya’s character Rue’s mother on Euphoria – joked that Zendaya is holding up the third season.
“Season three is coming out… I don’t f**king know, don’t ask me. I don’t know. It’s one of those things…” King began.
“People are like, ‘We need season three.’ I’m like, ‘B***h, I need season three,” she exclaimed, eliciting laughter from the audience.
The actress and comedian went on to reveal that she has been financially stricken ever since season two wrapped up in 2022.
“I haven’t paid my rent in six months. And Zendaya’s over in Paris Fashion Week. I’m like, ‘B****, come home! I need you! Mama need you!'” she quipped.
However, she seemed to take on a more serious note, saying, “You’re laughing and I’m serious. I haven’t booked nothing since Euphoria – this is some bulls***. I thought my career was on the rise. After Euphoria I thought I was good. It don’t work that way I called Taraji [P. Henson], she was like, ‘B***h, get used to it!”
