Princess Diana seems to be still living in the memories of her loved ones.

The late Princess’ brother Charles Spencer shared a sweet memory from their childhood in a social media post, letting fans have a peek into the time when the two were kids.

“My mother, Diana and I, in c. 1967. I would have been 3, and Diana 5 or 6,” Spencer wrote in the caption of the black and white throwback picture on Instagram on Friday, March 1.

“I love how happy each of us looks.”

In the photo, Spencer, formally known by the title 9th Earl Spencer, wore a broad smile while seated on a swing.

Diana, standing beside her younger brother, also showed off a beaming grin. Spencer opted for a collared shirt, shorts, and sandals with socks, while his sister donned a white T-shirt, high-waisted shorts, and flip-flops.

Their late mother, Frances Shand Kydd, was also wearing casual attire with a T-shirt, shorts and lace-up shoes.

Spencer explained about when the picture was taken.

“At this stage of my life, my mother nicknamed me “Buzz”, she wrote, “because she saw me as having the endless energy of a rather happy - and busy - bee.”

Diana and Spencer are two of the five children of the late John Spencer, the 8th Earl of Spencer, and Kydd.

The Spencer family further includes sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, along with brother John Spencer, who sadly passed away just hours after his birth in 1960.
