Emily Blunt dishes who she’s going to bring at this year’s Oscar ceremony
Emily Blunt is happy to be nominated by Academy Awards for its 96th edition
Emily Blunt has recently shared who’s going to accompany her at this year’s Oscars, which will be held on March 10.
“I'm going to bring John and I'm hoping my parents, who are sort of angling for it,” revealed Blunt, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Oppenheimer.
Speaking to PEOPLE, The Devil Wears Prada actress said, “It's my dad's birthday that weekend!”
“I think the kids may stay up and watch it,” added Blunt, who was co-interviewed with co-stars Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. for magazine’s annual Oscar portfolio.
While replying to a question about her first-ever Oscar nomination, the actress mentioned, “I feel like I've been lighter than air the last couple of weeks. I feel so happy.”
“I don't know if I've had much time to let it sink in. I feel very happy, like peaceful, happy,” stated the 48-year-old.
Blunt continued, “And she's grateful to have her costars by her side.”
“I'm just happy we have each other. I feel like we've been such a little gang of this Oppenheimer ride, which seems to be forever lasting and extends beyond what any of us dreamt of,” added the actress.
Besides Blunt, Murphy and Downey Jr. are also nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively.
