V from BTS sent his fans into a frenzy with an exciting announcement.
Big Hit Music revealed on Monday that the Dynamite vocalist is slated to release his new full English song FRI(END)S on March 15.
The managing agency elaborated the new digital single as a "love song in the pop-soul R&B genre."
The upcoming English song is Butter crooner’s first solo track since his debut album Layover was released in September.
Moreover, the 28-year-old South Korean rapper, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, is releasing the new song all while fulfilling his military duties.
According to reports from his agency, V had prepared this particular pop-soul song for his fans before he began his mandatory service.
The FAKE LOVE singer was enlisted in the army on December 11, 2023, alongside BTS member, Kim Namjoon, widely known as RM.
At present, all seven members of the highly lauded South Korean boy band, who embarked on hiatus in 2022, are enlisted in the military services with hopes of reuniting as a group in 2025.
