Queen Camilla has landed in hot waters after it was announced that she would be taking a break from royal duties and jet off to a brief excursion.
According to The Sun, the Queen Consort will board on a private flight on Sunday to enjoy a break away from the current royal health crisis.
It comes as King Charles continues to travel back and forth between London and Sandringham for his treatment of and undisclosed form of cancer.
Camilla has been holding the royal fort in the absence of working royals in the family and undertook 13 official engagements since the beginning of this year.
Royal watchers charged at her for flying away from the King during his treatment, accusing her of abandoning the royal family during this difficult time.

“A sunshine break? Really?” a user asked in disbelief on X, formerly Twitter.
“Does anybody else find it strange that the only leading member of the Royal Family who is still working is going on holiday at such a turbulent time?” another suspected.
“Prince Philip made a lot of poor decisions but I don’t think he would have jetted off on a sunny vacation right after the Queen announced she had cancer,” fumed a third. “What a joke these people are.”
Public concern for the lack of working royals in the family is fueled by Kate Middleton’s continued absence from the public eye for the last two months.
And though Prince William continues to sparingly undertake public engagements, fans fear he will soon be weighed down by the overwhelming burden of royal duties without any support.
