Bitter truth behind Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s strained marriage
Beyoncé and Jay-Z's marriage has been marred by multiple scandals over the years
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s marriage has been marred by a fair share of scandals over the last decade.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, was tested under the unforgiving scrutiny of public as the one-half kept messing it up and the other scrambling to fix it.
Jay-Z was accused of cheating on the Renaissance artist with both industry women and outside of it multiple time during the course of their marriage.
The songstress also addressed the heartbreak that came with the infidelity of her husband in her album Lemonade, however, refused to separate from him at any occasion.
Speaking to In Touch, a source revealed that Beyoncé will never truly let go of the renowned rapper due to the monetary benefits attached to him.
“They’ve built an empire together, and there’s too much at stake,” they explained, referring to their combined estimated net worth of $3.3 billion, per Forbes.
"They’re one of those couples who are worth more together than apart," the insider spilled.
"It’s almost as if their marriage has evolved into a business partnership, and they’re just friends now who basically lead separate lives,” they continued.
“So whatever tension there may be behind closed doors, they seem to go out of their way to not let the public see it."
The source added: "Beyoncé was so young when she met Jay-Z [at 18] — she idolized him — then he shattered her world."
Since tying the knot in 2008, Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed three children, Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, 6.
