The longtime barber of Travis Kelce has had a wholesome time becoming friends with Taylor Swift.
This week, Patrick Regan discussed his recent acquaintance with the Cruel Summer singer, whom he first met through the 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, on "The Tease" podcast, according to People.
“Taylor is a super sweet person,” Regan said, adding that Swift, 34, is “always interested in what you’re saying.”
Regan has been cutting Kelce's trademark buzz cut for six years. He previously disclosed that Swift goes with the NFL player to haircut appointments.
One of these sessions was captured on camera by the Karma singer using her trademark filter. Then, Regan said in a February interview with Fox News that Swift "always compliments" Kelce on his well-groomed hair.
The one thing Regan and the Grammy winner have in common, despite Swift's enormous popularity, is that they were both raised in Pennsylvania.
"She's from the Philly area too, so we connected real well [over that]," he said.
“She just seems like a girl I went to high school with. She's a really nice person,” Regan added of Swift’s down-to-earth personality.
Although Regan primarily works in the background, he acknowledges that since Kelce and Swift abruptly ended their romance in September, a lot has changed. But everything has turned out well.
“It’s really cool to see how much of [Travis'] personality everyone’s getting to see. He’s one of the best guys in the world,” Regan told "The Tease" podcast, adding that his work has also been magnified because Swift is “such an icon.”
