Stars of the highly anticipated Bad Boys 4 film, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, were sighted in action on Thursday as they filmed a scene in Miami.
The duo, clad in full police combat attire, appeared to endure the sweltering Florida heat as they brought their characters, Detective Mike and Marcus Miles, to life on the screen.
Joining the cast is Eric Dane, known for his role in Grey's Anatomy, portraying the villainous banker.
Despite initial scheduling setbacks, the movie is now slated for release on June 7, 2024.
The majority of the shooting occurred in April of the preceding year, spanning locations in Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami, Florida.
However, in May of 2023, the project faced a setback when behind-the-scenes footage featuring stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence surfaced, capturing a different shootout scene in Atlanta.
This coincided with the June 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, placing an indefinite pause on production.
Many attributed it to Smith's involvement in the Oscars scandal of 2022, where he infamously slapped comedian Chris Rock onstage in response to a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
The incident brought to light the couple's previously undisclosed separation since 2016, revealed by Jada during media attention surrounding her biography.
