Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are making a return to the NCIS franchise.
The beloved actors are set to reprise their iconic roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in an upcoming spinoff series, as announced by Paramount+ in a press release on Wednesday, February 28th.
The new show, slated to commence production later this year, will follow Tony and Ziva, known as "Tiva" by dedicated NCIS fans, as they navigate the journey of parenthood while raising their daughter, Tali, together.
The storyline unfolds when Tony's security firm becomes the target of an attack, prompting the couple to delve into uncovering the identity of their assailant.
Both actors expressed their enthusiasm for the new series in a statement featured in Paramount's press release.
"We've been discussing this storyline for many years, and now with executive producer John McNamara leading the way, we are prepared," they stated.
"The world of Tony and Ziva (along with daughter Tali) promises to be a thrilling roller coaster ride filled with love, danger, tears, and laughter."
