Russia's former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov visited the Hira Cultural District in Makkah.
Nestled beside the revered Jabal Al-Nour, the sprawling district spans approximately 67,000 square meters.
During his tour, Khabib Nurmagomedov, renowned for his extended reign as the UFC lightweight champion from April 2018 to March 2021, specifically explored the Revelation Gallery.
Expressing his thoughts on the exhibition's quality, Russia's former professional mixed martial arts fighter acknowledged the cultural richness encapsulated within the district.
The Hira Cultural District boasts a diverse array of attractions, including the Museum of the Holy Qur’an, Saudi Coffee Museum, Cultural Library, Hira Garden, Hira Cabins, the Cave of Hira, and various shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Notably, the expansive Hira Garden offers tranquil resting spots, while the Hira Cabins mountain resort provides breathtaking balcony views of Jabal Al-Nour, complemented by a private garden and an entertainment attic.
Connected by a paved road, visitors can ascend from the mountain's base to the historical Cave of Hira, where the initial Qur’anic verse was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement, Nurmagomedov commended Saudi Arabia for its pivotal role in enhancing the cultural and religious experiences of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors.
