Outcry in Paris as Kanye West condemns Adidas for alleged release of 'Fake' Yeezys
Kanye West signs autographs with 'F*** ADIDAS' message amid ongoing feud with sportswear giant
Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were met with enthusiastic cheers from fans gathered outside their hotel in Paris on Wednesday, as the couple stepped out for a lunch outing.
As they made their way to their waiting car, a group of supporters began chanting "f*** Adidas" repeatedly, showing solidarity with the rapper amid his ongoing dispute with the sportswear giant.
This comes after he accused Adidas of releasing unauthorized Yeezy products.
While West kept his face and eyes obscured with a black mask, his partner, appeared to be in good spirits, smiling as she entered a luxury SUV.
The fans' chants were seen as a display of backing for West, who has been vocal about feeling betrayed by Adidas, which severed ties with him last year following controversial remarks he made.
Although his reaction to the chants was not visible due to his covered face, reports suggest he appeared pleased by the support and even encouraged the fans to chant louder.
Kanye West expressed gratitude towards fans outside his hotel in Paris by signing autographs, including a copy of his acclaimed 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
In an Instagram video, he lambasted Adidas for allegedly suing him for $250 million and withholding payments for shoes bearing his name.
