Emraan Hashmi has responded to rumors about him playing a villain in the upcoming film Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani.
Taking to his Instagram account on Wednesday, the 44-year-old actor shared a story in which he denied these reports, mentioning that he was never offered a role in the film.
The Hamari Adhuri Kahani actor wrote, "For the fans and journalists that are asking, I was never a part of Don 3. Was never offered the movie."
On the work front, Emraan is currently preparing for the release of his new web series, Showtime, which features actors like Mouni Roy, Shriya Saran, Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, and Rajeev Khandelwal.
The series, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, revolves around power struggles in the Bollywood industry.
Directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, the series is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 8, 2024.
Earlier, during an exclusive interview with ANI, the Tiger 3 star discussed about the series, saying, "The trailer gives people an idea of the world we have created of contemporary Bollywood and this web series will reveal a lot about our industry."
