Alexei Navalny's wife maintains that her husband was killed "by another of Putin's Novichoks" and promises to "soon reveal details" regarding his cause of death.
Yulia Navalnaya accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of killing her husband and then "hiding" his body to make sure that any evidence of the nerve toxin was eliminated in a video statement released on Monday, according to Sky News.
It happens after the mortuary refuses to let his mother in, where Navalny's body is thought to be.
Navalnaya declared that she would identify those responsible for his demise and claimed that Putin "couldn't break him".
"Vile and cowardly they are now hiding his body, they are not showing it, not giving it to his mother and they are pathetically lying and waiting for the traces of yet another of Putin's novichoks to disappear there," she said.
"My husband could not be broken. And that's exactly why Putin killed him. Shameful, cowardly, not daring to look into his eyes or simply say his name," she added.
"We will tell you about it soon. We will definitely find out who exactly carried out this crime and how exactly. We will name the names and show the faces," she further added.
Numerous international leaders have held Putin and his administration accountable for Navalny's demise; however, the Kremlin has vehemently denied these allegations.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov claimed that the "obnoxious" remarks made by the US and other Western nations will not hurt the Russian president.
Although the 47-year-old's body was brought to the mortuary at the Salekhard District Clinical Hospital, Lyudmila Navalnaya, Navalny's mother, and his attorneys were "not allowed to go in" once they arrived to view him.
