Alia Bhatt reacts to Varun Dhawan's pregnancy announcement

Alia Bhatt recently took out a moment to extend heartfelt wishes to her long-time friend, Varun Dhawan.

The Badlapur actor, who is known for his phenomenal performance, announced their pregnancy on Instagram on Sunday, February 18. 

The 36-year-old actor shared a picture in which he could be seen kissing his wife’s baby bump.

Bhatt, who played alongside Varun in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year, added an adorable set of hearts under the actor’s post.

Fans couldn’t handle all the love pouring in, adding comments like: "Friendly reminder: the next time varun and alia work together they will both have kids of their own. they met when they were kids themselves. I’m so emotional rn."

With Raha’s arrival, and Varun announcing the big news, fans realised that the ‘trio’ grew up too fast.

Netizens reacted to Bhatt’s comment, recalling their debut film together, starring alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor.

Meanwhile, other celebrities also took the opportunity to congratulate the couple on their big day.

KJo added an emotional comment, noting: "Love you both!!!!!!! So so happy for you and the family!!!! welcome to best feeling in the world." Others include; Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

There have been speculations about the two sharing screen-space after their recent starrer, Kalank, however, little can be said on the subject unless the two make an official announcement.
