Taylor Swift sparked rumours of engagement with her beau Travis Kelce on several occasions ever since their whirlwind romance kicked off last year.
Fans braced for the NFL player to pop the question to the Grammy winner following Kansas City Chiefs’ epic win against San Fransisco 49ers at the Super Bowl XVIII earlier this month.
However, the 34-year-old athlete quashed their hopes of a potential grand gesture for Swift during a press conference ahead of the game.
“I’m focused on getting [Super Bowl] ring, and that’s all that my mind’s focused on right now,” affirmed Kelce when asked by a reporter if there would be another ring apart from the Super Bowl ring at the event.
Hence, it could be concluded that Travis Kelce did not propose to Taylor Swift.
The loved-up couple didn’t shy away from packing on a PDA onfield after Chiefs were led to victory at the football game on Sunday, February 11.
They also had eyes for none other than one another at the after-party of the event. Clips making rounds on social media showed Travis serenading Taylor from one corner of the club, which the Lover singer later dubbed “the most romantic thing ever”.
Rest assured, though there hasn’t been any formal announcements of the couple’s engagement yet, many speculate that they might be secretly engaged, owing to the singer’s distinct bond with the NFL star from her past lovers.
