Prince Harry dished on his plans for his next return to the UK after his emergency trip to see his cancer-stricken father King Charles earlier this month.
In an interview with Good Morning America on Friday, the Duke of Sussex addressed his 30-minute meeting with the monarch following his diagnosis with cancer.
He noted that this wasn’t his last trip to the UK, noting: “I’ve got other trip plans that will take me through the UK, or back to the UK, and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”
Harry expressed gratitude for being able to jump on the first flight to his home country and “go and see [the King] and spend any time with him.”
“I love my family,” he expressed.
The former royal also hinted at thawing of relations between him and the rest of the royal family as he agreed with the host Will Reeves’ sentiments about illnesses or calamity bringing families together.
“Throughout all these [Invictus] families, I see it on a day-to-day basis, the strength of the family unit coming together,” the Spare author affirmed. “I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.”
