Taylor Swift belts out emotional performance days after ex Joe Alwyn resurfaces
Taylor Swift's ex Joe Alwyn was joined by a familiar face as he stepped out in London on Tuesday
Taylor Swift appeared to have an emotional moment while performing her song, You’re Losing Me, live for the first time.
The 14-time Grammy-winning musician kicked off her Australian leg of the Eras Tour on Friday in Melbourne. As per tradition, Swift picked two surprise songs for the evening with one being her breakup ballad for ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years until February 2022.
Swift, who was sat at the piano dressed in a bright yellow dress, and sang the heartbreaking lyrics in which the singer pleads her romantic partner to save their relationship.
The singer sounded especially emotional as she fiercely belted out the lyrics: “And I wouldn't marry me either / A pathological people pleaser / Who only wanted you to see her / And I'm fadin', thinkin' / And I'm fadin', thinkin' / ‘Do something, babe, say something’ (Say something)”
However, Swift appears to choke up when she reaches the part that says “Choose something, babe, I got nothing.”
Fans picked up on the emotional moment and noted that it came just days after Alwyn made appearance in the public.
Alwyn was joined by a familiar face as he stepped out in London on Tuesday, before attending the Dunhill & BSBP pre-BAFTAs filmmakers dinner and party held at Bourdon House ahead of Sunday's awards ceremony.
