The actress and singer Jennifer Lopez acknowledged that, particularly with her spouse, actor Ben Affleck, she can still be very possessive in her relationships.
JLo isn't hesitant to acknowledge that when other women make advances at Affleck, she becomes envious. Lopez participated in a game called This Is Me... Now, or Then? during a visit on Today With Hoda & Jenna, in which she had to respond to questions about her life at the time.
Lopez raised a paddle with the word "NOW" printed on it in response to a question about whether she becomes envious if someone makes advances on her partner. She joked that women should avoid dating Affleck, stating, "Don't play with me. Do not play with me."
The singer first acknowledged that "I'm a lover, not a fighter," which is why she would respond to someone who began making advances towards her husband in a "very elegant and lady-like way" by telling them to "step all the way off."
Lopez has previously displayed her protective nature towards Affleck. She mockingly advised followers to "back off b**ch" in November of last year after they fell in love with him.
Jennifer Lopez has been outspoken about her feelings for Affleck since she and Ben married in July 2022. He makes her feel "more beautiful than" she has ever felt, according to her statements.
