Kajol opened up about her relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, revealing that while the two are “very, very good friends,” they don’t regularly keep in touch.
Conversing with Mashabale India, Kajol spoke highly of Shah Rukh Khan, regarding him as one of her greatest friends in the industry.
She talked about their on-screen chemistry, highlighting that the two have an extremely different bond, which in reality that allows them to be available for each other at all times.
Kajol even joked about texting him ‘good morning’ everyday, adding that if she were to send him morning greetings, he might humorously "stab her with a fork".
She however, made it very clear with her statements that the two former co-stars, respect each other’s space.
The I Love Family actress also revealed Khan’s unique attribute, sharing that the Dunki actor has an exceptional memory, as he’s able to memorise dialogues easily.
SRK and Kajol have shared screen space for over three decades now, including major films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Baazigar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, My Name is Khan and their most recent, Dilwale.
