ISLAMABAD: Prominent Kashmiri leader and the founding member of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Amanullah Khan died after prolonged illness in Rawalpindi here Tuesday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Amanullah Khan breathed his last early this morning at a hospital after fighting a year long battle against chronic lung disease.
Meanwhile JKLF Vice Chairman Saleem Haroon expressed sympathies and condolences over the loss of the movement workers and the bereaved family.
A JKLF spokesman said that the funeral prayers of the deceased would be held at Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
