Katrina Kaif, who has been garnering praise for her incredible performance in Merry Christmas, recently expressed her desire to play a negative role in future projects.
In conversation with Pinkvilla, the B-town diva shared that she has evolved as an artist with the passage of time.
She explained, "With experiences you change, you grow, you evolve as a person, and so naturally your choices are going to slightly start reflecting that change, and that's going to be reflected in your work as well."
Speaking of her upcoming projects, Kaif added, "...I would really love to play a negative character," however the actress emphasised that she wants to be part of a meaningful script for her desired role.
The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress opened up about her choices, saying, "So there are many things that I find exciting. I would love to do a period film. As an actor, I am excited to do that."
During the same interview, Kaif admitted that she feels delighted as her new film, Merry Christmas "resonated with the audiences."
The mystery movie also features Vijay Sethupati alongside Kaif.
Directed by critically acclaimed Sriram Raghavan, the romantic thriller film hit big screens on January 12, 2024.
