Jason Kelce traveled to his neighborhood McDonald's in Broomall on Wednesday to place his customary order of sausage, egg, and cheese, and ended up giving his signed jersey to his favourite employee.
It was the same visage that welcomed him when he drew up to the cashier window.
The Eagles centre has received assistance from Danielle Bonham on several occasions, and the two have shared multiple pictures during his Mickey D's runs. He made the decision to treat Bonham especially this time.
Bonham received a signed Kelly Green Eagles jersey from Kelce, who played for the Eagles for his entire career and won a Super Bowl with them.
"I’m forever grateful and very fortunate to have crossed paths with him as many times as I did, and I just wish him nothing but the best," Bonham told Philadelphia's FOX29.
Locals in Havertown, Pennsylvania, where Kelce adopted his new home, are getting ready for the prospect that their tenure as the Eagles centre may be drawing to an end. Locals are still getting ready, despite Kelce's denial on his "New Heights" podcast that he told teammates he was retiring following Philadelphia's 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When FOX 29 spoke with a number of the township's businesses, they gushed over Kelce's influence on the community and the improvements he has made since he and his family moved there.
"He’s got his footprint all over this town. The flower shop over here, the Wawa, the Kettle down on the boulevard, I mean, he’s all over St Dennis fair with his kids," Carl Henderson, the owner of Carl's Cards & Collectibles, told the television station. "I’ve seen a lot of athletes come and go, but Jason’s a special dude."
