Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday took to social media to share an intimate picture on the beach with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, leaving fans in awe of his romance.
Rodriguez, a 29-year-old Spanish model and social media influencer, has an amazing 55.5 million Instagram followers trailing her partner, who has an astounding 617 million followers on the platform, by quite a little, though.
The 38-year-old striker needed Rodriguez's attention while she worked at a Gucci store in Madrid in 2016, which is how the couple first met. They have since made great progress and are currently co-parents of five children, according to Sportskeeda.
The pair has already declared their love for one another several times, but Ronaldo decided to remind the world once again when he posted a picture of the two on Instagram with the caption, "Soulmate."
According to Mirror, Rodriguez lauded the Al-Nassr striker ahead of the release of her Netflix series "I Am Georgina" last year, saying: "Cristiano is marvellous.
"He's a wonderful father, a wonderful son, brother, friend and partner, boss and employee because he’s an employee as well. He’s fantastic in every sense of the word. Sometimes we're at home eating and I look at him and think, 'how lucky I feel to be the one he's chosen to create this wonderful family' and I go to bed really happy."
Ronaldo has won five Ballon d'Or awards and Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League trophies, among numerous other honours and Rodriguez has been right by his side even when rumours suggested otherwise.
Rodriguez slammed rumours by Spanish and Portuguese media outlets suggesting a rift between her and Ronaldo in April 2023 when she took to social media, writing:
"The jealous one invents a rumour, the gossipy one spreads it and the idiot believes it."
