When it comes to their sport and their year, few sportsmen can look back on 2023 with greater pride than Travis Kelce as the 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs has unquestionably had the most intense 12 months of his career the previous year.
Travis first gained popularity in 2008 when he and his older brother, Jason, a centre for the Philadelphia Eagles, became the first siblings to play against each other in Super Bowl history.
The eight-time Pro Bowler said in a Wall Street Journal article that he's growing more conscious of the discomfort and injuries his body experiences from playing every day for six months, from September to February.
"That's the only thing I've never really been open about, the discomfort. The pain," Travis said in November. "The lingering injuries — the 10 surgeries I've had that I still feel every single surgery to this day."
Furthermore, Travis's buddies think the NFL player is madly in love with Taylor Swift, so they can see him getting married to her. The couple has primarily been seen on dates in Kansas City, but each time they get together after a Chiefs game, they appear to be in love.
Upon the conclusion of the 2023 season, the Chiefs player appears to be considering his next move and isn't planning on calling it quits with Taylor Swift anytime soon.
