Meera Chopra, cousin-sister of Priyanka Chopra, recently claimed that she did not receive any help or support from the globally celebrated actress.
The actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming film Safed, opened up about her strained bond with Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra.
In conversation with Siddharth Kannan, she said, "From the start, there was not much closeness between us that we would look like friends here. That would be fake."
Meera continued, "But I can say that when three or four girls join the industry, they help each other. That did not happen to me. I never asked for help and the help never came from them."
The actress showered praise on the Quantico star's 'generous' nature however, she shared that Priyanka never reciprocated the same love towards her.
Meera said, "Priyanka has always been very generous. I am very close with Priyanka's family. The sisterhood is missing, not from my end. It was never reciprocated."
Speaking of the renowned Chopra clan, the actress shared, "When families don’t talk, I don’t want to cross that line which would hurt my family."
Notably, Priyanka only shared a healthy bond with Parineeti, who recently tied the knot with Indian politician Raghav Chadha.
The Love Again actress extended her warm wishes for the newlyweds on her Instagram handle.
