Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, the new on-screen couple in town, are all set to mesmerise the audience with their much-anticipated thriller film, Merry Christmas.
On Dec. 20, the makers of the film released the trailer of their upcoming mystery drama on social media, leaving fans fascinated.
The two-minute Hindi trailer showcased the impeccable acting skills of Katrina and Vijay as their festive night took a scary turn.
Notably, the movie will release in Hindi and Tamil languages.
As the trailer dropped online, fans expressed their excitement to witness the forthcoming cinematic masterpiece.
One fan wrote, "If you feel goosebumps from just the trailer itself then imagine how did you feel when you watch this film in the big screen."
Another admired the first time on-screen pair's chemistry in the movie, saying, "Vijay and Katrina together are killing it!!"
Earlier, in conversation with Deadline, Katrina talked about her working experience with renowned Tamil actor Vijay in the film.
She said, "I got the opportunity in Merry Christmas to work with him. It was penomenal, by far the most difficult film I have ever done."
The actress further shared, "We shot the film in Hindi and Tamil. in Tamil version, I have actually spoken in Tamil so it was two takes for whatever you were doing and that was really challenging but exciting."
Directed by critically acclaimed Sriram Raghavan, the action thriller movie is all set to hit big screens on January 12, 2024.
