WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new feature known as "chat filter" that will assist in enhancing the desktop user experience allowing them to better organise their chats by selecting the filter that best matches their requirements.
The instant messaging software has launched a feature that allows users to categorise their chats by choosing a preferred filter, as reported by WABetaInfo. Currently limited to a small group of beta testers, the feature will shortly be made public.
The report points out that in order to help users organise their discussions, a new row has been added to the top of the chat list page.
It is noteworthy to emphasise that those customers who have previously registered for the official web client beta programme are currently able to access this function, which gives them access to special capabilities.
This feature presents new filters to users with the goal of simplifying the administration and arrangement of their WhatsApp Web conversations.
The new row, which sits at the top of the chat list screen, includes useful filters like as "Unread," "Contacts," and "Groups," which allow users to quickly access particular chat categories.
