Pakistan Test skipper Shan Masood was Tuesday picked to lead Karachi Kings in season nine of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
His former team, Multan Sultans, traded him for the first pick in the Diamond category, the second pick in the Silver category as well as Multan-born left-arm wrist spinner Faisal Akram.
Karachi got Sultans’ fourth pick in the first Diamond round.
Masood is now set to lead the Kings in the upcoming season nine where the Karachi-based franchise will look to clinch their second PSL title.
We have seen some of the biggest trades in the past days with players like Imad Wasim, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah changing their teams in the most unexpected fashion.
The Kings also traded their captain and the Player of the Tournament of last season, Wasim, with Islamabad United’s Ali.
It must be noted that the PCB released the list of all the retained players by all six franchises earlier where many big and important names were not kept by their franchises.
