Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that she felt drained after portraying the role of the grieving detective who lost her child in Hansal Mehta’s directorial, The Buckingham Murders.
The Jab We Met actress recently appeared at The Actors' Roundtable 2023 organised by Netflix alongside Kajol, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanya Malhotra and others.
Speaking of her upcoming thriller mystery film, Kareena admitted that she found it quite difficult to portray a "disturbing" role of Jasmeet Bhamra.
The 43-year-old Bollywood star said, "I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan."
She continued, "But somehow I just found that it was just deeply disturbing and after a point, I just felt that I don't want to know her because she is just so unhappy and so grieving."
During her conversation, the actress also disclosed that her upcoming highly anticipated movie will be available on Netflix after its theatrical release.
Interestingly, The Buckingham Murders, which was premiered at the BFI London Film Festival on October 14, produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor and Kareena herself.
Notably, the mother-of-two made her OTT debut in 2023 and was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial Jaane Jaan, which garnered good reviews from the audience.
