Pakistan batter Imam-ul-Haq is set to tie the knot today with Anmol Mehmood. The couple, however, was seen having the time of their lives in a fun-filled qawwali event as part of their wedding festivities.
In a video that Imam himself has shared, the pair can be seen enjoying the musical evening with their friends and family by their side.
Sharing the celebrations amidst the qawwali night with his fans and followers, the 27-year-old athlete took to Instagram, calling it a "magical night".
Both Imam and his fiancée, who has flown from Norway to Pakistan, looked ethereal walking the ramp of their venue together.
The bride shined bright in a metallic grey sequined dress, while the groom exuded festive vibes in a sequined black kurta paired with matching pants.
She let her hair down with soft curls on the ends and complimented her dress with minimal jewellery and a soft glam look with makeup.
The couple celebrated the event with grand fireworks and the venue was decorated under a canopy of lights and flowers around them.
Imam's wedding festivities have kick-started in full swing. Pictures and videos from the event in Lahore went viral on social media.
Also present at the qawwali event was Pakistan ex-captain Babar Azam, whose glimpse is seen in the video shared by Imam. His uncle and former selector of the Pakistan cricket team Inzamam-ul-Haq and former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed were also present at the festive event along with other Pakistani cricketers Usman Qadir and Kamran Akmal.
Meanwhile, the cricketers attending the event followed the same theme for their dressing.
