Millie Bobby Brown embraces real self, shows acne marks in selfie
Millie Bobby Brown get famous after her role in Netflix 'Stranger Things'
Millie Bobby Brown has been embracing her real self in front of her fans and being honest about her skin.
The Stranger Things actress, 19, confessed she was experiencing an acne outbreak in two Instagram posts she posted on Monday.
The actress turned to one side and looked at the camera in the first picture, which was a mirror selfie. Brown displayed a close-up of her makeup-free face while pouting her lips on the following slide.
In the post's caption, she made a mention of her skincare and cosmetics company by adding, "@florencebymills send help!"
Brown has already exposed her natural skin and spoken openly about "embracing the imperfections," as she did in an Instagram video from March. She previously revealed to followers her beauty regimen and her go-to Florence by Mills products for clearing up breakouts.
In 2019, Brown revealed to People magazine that her grandmother Florence, who encouraged her to embrace her natural beauty, served as the brand's inspiration.
"My grandmother embraced her individuality a lot and she expressed herself. I definitely relate to that," she said. "I've been told I'm like her in that respect, and I wanted that to represent my brand as well."
In the comments area of her Instagram post from Monday, several of Brown's followers applauded her for being open about her acne.
"Love how you show off your acne. it is normal and okay to get breakouts.," wrote one social media user. Another fan added, "Thank you for normalizing breakouts."
