Paris Hilton calls out ‘cruel’ trolls for ‘targeting’ baby son's looks
Paris Hilton welcomed her first child with Carter Reum via surrogate in January 16, 2023
Paris Hilton called out trolls for passing hurtful comments about her eight-month-old son, Phoenix Barron’s appearance.
Earlier, on October 20, the socialite shared some adorable photos with her little one which received several insensitive comments about her baby son’s looks.
Netizens alleged that Phoenix has a medical condition called Macrocephaly in which some babies have bigger heads than normal babies.
To addressed the unwanted hate, Hilton took to her Instagram story and penned a heartfelt note, saying that her child is perfectly healthy and angelic.
"Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable," she began her note.
Calling her son, the biggest blessing of her life, the Paris in Love star said that the public’s response is truly "hurtful."
“I've dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember. Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters,” she continued.
The 42-year-old actress further added that it is hard to believe that there are some cruel people in the world who would target an innocent baby.
"I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy," she concluded.
Hilton tied the knot with Carter Reum in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child together via surrogate in January 16, 2023.
