Call My Agent U.K. is coming to an end.
Variety is able to confirm that Call My Agent U.K., which debuted under the title Ten Percent in the country, will not have a second season.
Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Prasanna Puwanarajah, and Maggie Steed starred in the English-language version of the popular French comedy, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in the U.K. in April 2022 to enthusiastic reviews. It debuted on Sundance Now and AMC+ in the United States
The original series, known in France as Dix Pour Cent (Ten Percent), was a surprise success that spawned four seasons and made its cast, which included Camille Cottin and Assaad Bouab, well-known across the world. Cottin's next films include A Haunting in Venice and Golda" directed by Guy Nattiv, while Bouab most recently appeared in Inventing Anna and Bad Sisters.
The self-referential programme, which was filmed at a Parisian talent agency, was also well-known for its numerous celebrity cameos, which included roles for exaggerated versions of themselves from Monica Belluci, Sigourney Weaver, and Juliette Binoche.
A co-production between Amazon Studios, Bron, and Headline Pictures, the U.K. translation premiered with a similarly impressive cast, including cameo appearances from David Harewood, Dominic West, and Helena Bonham Carter. John Morton (W1A), the showrunner, created and wrote it.
