Patty Jenkins is going to answer it all.
Patty Jenkins, the Wonder Woman filmmaker, will conduct a Q&A to kick off the HollyShorts Film Festival.
On August 11 at the TLC Chinese 6 cinema, Jenkins, who is also well known for the films Monster and The Killing finale, will take part in a discussion with Steve Bellamy, president of Kodak Motion Picture. She will talk about her work, the creative process, and the state of the industry, among other things.
Earlier, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot confirmed that Patty Jenkins will not return for the franchise's third instalment, which also is cancelled reportedly, despite Gadot denying the rumours.
The actress said in a translated interview with the Israeli website Kan.org, “We are developing a third movie and we will see what happens with it.”
Addressing the rumours, Gadot confidently claimed, “No one ever talked to me about freezing, I was told that I was in good hands and that I could be calm.”
“We were supposed to shoot the third film now with Patty, my beloved friend and the very talented director, but it won’t happen,” Gadot confirmed.
With Patty Jenkins gone, James Gunn and Peter Safran are now in charge. Both have a strong superhero background, ensuring that the character's legacy is in capable hands.
