Sushmita Sen, who will be making her comeback to the entertainment industry with the film Taali after eight years, has revealed why she took a break from acting in the first place.
Sen shared that she was not enjoying work. Also, she was not motivated enough to be on the set, which is why she decided to take a break.
In a statement, she added: “I am on a set, and I am waiting endlessly for XYZ to arrive. But I am not really working. Then I have a 9-6 shift, which is dragging to another 9 with no fault of mine. In that situation, I was neither a professional nor a mother."
The moment the Main Hoon Na actress realized she did not feel like working, she decided to put a halt to acting after No Problem.
“At that point, I was not really enjoying anything, not learning, I wasn’t motivated to go to work. It took a while but it’s back", she said.
On the professional front, Sushmita Sen is gearing up to feature in the film Taali in which she is going to play the role of a real-life transgender activist, Shreegauri Sawant. On the other hand, she will also be seen in the OTT series Arya 3, reports News 18.
