The Hill star Whitney Port is addressing her fans’ concerns over her thin figure, assuring them that she will make her health a “priority” from now onwards.
Fans raised their concerns over a recent photo Port posted to her Instagram which featured her in a bikini, visibly underweight.
Port, 38, admitted in an Instagram story that she first took fans comments calling her “too thin” lightly. However, husband Tim Rosenman brought it to her attention, “as a good husband should, and said it's not just something strangers are spewing."
She continued her candid post, “I had to think about it and try to figure out what has been happening because it's not something I’m consciously thinking about! I eat to live, not the other way around. But after stepping on the scale, it hit me.”
“I always feel hungry but I just don’t know what to eat. It’s not how I want to look or feel though,” Port wrote. “My excuses are that I’m too lazy to make feeding myself a priority or I’m too picky when it comes to taste and quality.”
The star ended the post by promising her husband and fans that she will focus on her health.
Port has been open about her personal struggles and recently discussed contemplating surrogacy with her husband.
“I’m still figuring things out and nothing is, like, 100 percent yet… ” Port said in a recent interview. "But for me, like, I suffered from secondary infertility, and it has just been such a process both physically and mentally to get to that second baby."
