Ameesha Patel calls out 'Gadar 2' director for not clearing dues of crew members

Ameesha Patel has called out the Gadar 2 director for not clearing the dues of the crew members of the film working behind the scenes. 

In a series of tweets, Patel accused director Anil Sharma and his production house of mismanagement.

In one of the tweets, she mentioned: "Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding Anil Sharma Productions to have taken place in regard to the final schedule of Gadar 2 that took place end May in Chandigarh!!"

Patel went on to reveal: “There were certain queries that many technicians like make-up artists, costume designers, and others, etc did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from Anil Sharma Productions!!"

"Yes, they did not!! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company!”

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa actress finally thanked Zee Studios for stepping in and taking the situation under control, reports India Today.

"Yes from accommodation, to transport to Chandigarh airport on the final day to food bills were left unpaid and cars were not provided to certain cast and crew members leaving them stranded! But yet again @zeestudios stepped in and corrected these issues caused by Anil Sharma Productions!!!"

Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, is a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. It is set to release in theatres on August 11.
