Michael Douglas paid rich tribute to fellow actor Alan Arkin after he died on Friday.
Taking to Instagram, The Ant-Man star said, "Today we lost a wonderful actor whose intelligence, sense of comedy, and consummate professionalism over the past 70 years has left an indelible mark on our industry."
"My experience of working with Alan were some of my most memorable. He will be deeply missed. Sincere condolences to his wife, Suzanne, and his family," Douglas said about his co-star from the Netflix comedy The Kominsky Method.
His family announced the Oscar winner's death at the age of 89 on Friday.
"Our father was a uniquely talented force of nature, both as an artist and a man," the late actor's family released the statement.
"A loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather, he was adored and will be deeply missed."
Arkin won an Academy Award for The Little Miss Sunshine, and also bagged a Tony Award with several Emmy nominations.
