The music legend Nicki Minaj has praised a young boy for a heroic act to defend his mother, calling him a "true hero." She expressed her support by offering to pay for his college tuition.
Taking to Instagram, the singer posted a story saying, “That 14-year-old boy who backed that hammer out, when that grown a** man was punching his mother in the face as if she were a man, is a true hero.”
Offering to financially help the boy she said, “If he wants to go to college, I’d love to help.”
Impressed by the boy’s actions, the Anaconda hit maker said that every boy should do the same thing for his mother.
Hailing the mother, the singer expressed that the mother should be proud as she has raised a dope kid, reports Mid-day.
“The protection was on deck in the form of that boy as God already knew that she’d be attacked that day,” she added.
It was reported that 35-year-old Carlishia Hood was accused of using her 14-year-old son to shoot a man, Jeremy Brown, on June 18.
Cooks County State Attorney Kim Foxx has backtracked from the charges pushed against the mother-son duo.
