In the midst of a highly publicized disagreement between the married rappers, Cardi B and Offset, speculations arise regarding the fate of their relationship.
Earlier this week, Offset accused the "WAP" star of infidelity while Cardi vehemently denied these claims. However, a source close to the couple reveals that they are likely to resolve their differences.
According to an insider, "They're just having a little quarrel. They're very intense so they go back and forth quite a bit. They'll hash it out like they always do." Despite this statement, representatives for Cardi B and Offset have not yet responded to PEOPLE's request for comment.
The tension between the couple began when Offset, 31, posted a now-deleted Instagram Story, which read, "My wife f---ed a N---- on me gang yall n---- know how I come."
In response, Cardi, 30, initiated a Twitter Space conversation by singing a portion of the first verse from Keyshia Cole's song I Should Have Cheated. During the Twitter Space conversation, Cardi defended herself and advised her listeners to ignore Offset's behavior. Cardi also explained the challenges she faces in relationships due to her fame.
This isn't the first time that the couple, who started dating in February 2017, has faced allegations of infidelity in their relationship.
