LAHORE: Former Secretary Saeed Alvi on Monday succumbed to his injuries which he sustained after falling down a lift shaft of multy-storey building.
According to Geo News, the former secretary called a lift on 12th floor of a building but the elevator didn’t show up due to some fault.
He plummeted 12 floors to the ground as he stepped into void after finding the lift door open, receiving multiple wounds that proved fatal.
Saeed Alvi died at a hospital during treatment. His funerals would be offered at Cavalry Ground Lahore on Tuesday afternoon
