The PTI has changed its plans and will now be resuming its long march from Thursday instead of Wednesday following a brief pause due to party chief Imran Khan's injury in an attempt on his life last week.
Islamabad Capital City Police has warned of legal action against protests without permission in the federal capital ahead of the resumption, while the Supreme Court has ordered the Punjab IG to register the FIR of the assassination attempt on Khan.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif took a jibe at Imran Khan and said that "he has lost his mind after losing power, which is why he keeps hurling abuses at everyone."
"Khan just wants the DG ISI to be politically beneficial for him," Asif said while speaking during Geo News' programme "Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath" adding that institutions should be praised for obeying the Constitution and rule of law.
A man was subjected to severe torture by PTI’s workers for allegedly criticising the party’s senior leader Yasmin Rashid during their protest in Lahore.
The PTI workers claimed that the man, Ali Raza, is under the influence of alcohol.
Talking to Geo News, Raza rejected the allegations and presented himself for medical examination.

In compliance with the direction of the Supreme Court, the Punjab Police finally registered an FIR of the attempted assassination of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad after four days, sources said.
On November 3, at least 14 people, including former prime minister Imran Khan sustained bullet injuries when a suspect opened fire during the PTI’s protest rally at Allahwala Chowk.
The FIR has been registered under the charges of murder, attempt to murder, terrorism and others at the City Police Station in Wazirabad, sources added.
Naveed, the suspect arrested at the crime scene, has formally been nominated in the FIR, they said, adding that the FIR would be presented in the SC tomorrow.
Rawalpindi's district administration has announced the closure of educational institutions in light of the law and order situation amid PTI's protests.
The educational institutions will remain closed on November 8-9, a notification said.
PTI Secretary-General Asad Umar said that he will be participating in the long march along with other party leaders on Thursday.
"The long march beginning from the Grant Trunk Road will be led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi," Umar said. "On the other hand, I will be leading the march from Toba Tek Singh, Faisalabad Division."
The former planning minister said that marches in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa begin from three different sides and will be led by Ali Amin Gandapur.
"Mahmood Khan and Murad Saeed will lead the march from the Malakand Division, while the march from Peshawar and Hazara Division will be led by Pervez Khattak," he said.

In a shocking incident, a PTI worker climbed up a high-voltage electricity pole during the party’s protest against the assassination attempt on the life of Imran Khan and got electrocuted on Rawalpindi’s Murree Road.
Meanwhile, the man, 23, came in contact with the high-voltage electricity cables and he received a severe electric shock, resulting in suffering burns. The man, identified as Zeenatullah, fell from the electricity pole and lost consciousness.

This is the third time that the PTI has changed the date of the resumption of the long march.

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi met PTI Chairman Imran Khan at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore. The CM inquired after Khan and spoke about the matters related to the next phase of long march, security and registration of FIR against the attack on Khan.

The neighbour of the prime suspect in the attack on PTI Chairman Imran Khan was arrested in a joint operation by police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Wazirabad, sources said.
Sources affiliated with the police said that the arrested suspect was identified as Ahsan who owns a computer hardware shop.
