‘Bol’ sets another historic record at box office

KARACHI: Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol at local cinemas has made another remarkable historic record in just two weeks, the cumulative total of which is a figure of Rs47,217,600 at 24 screens which itself is a record from its first week gross revenue of Rs24,648,778 from 26 cinemas.
This mind blowing box office record is unparalleled in the history of Pakistani cinema and the milestone has been achieved in direct opposition to all the latest Indian movies being released here simultaneously with their Indian and international opening.
It’s for sure that Bol will continue its steady run at cinemas across the country and creating new records in times to come. It is to be noted that Shoaib Mansoor’s movie Bol released under the banner of Geo Films has not only established new success records, it has even set a new business record at the box office. It has become the film earning the highest gross in the first week of release, smashing all previous records.
People of all ages are trying hard to get in to the houseful cinemas to watch this movie as soon as possible since its first show on 24th June, 2011. This shows that if good and quality movies are produced in Pakistan, they will definitely show their interest and make it a success!
Bol is about a family in poverty and trying to make ends meet. The movie deals with this family’s problems and how every member of the family reacts to them, including some contradicting decisions and some unfortunate situations.
