Education policies need upgradation to meet current challenges: Rabbani

PESHAWAR: Corps Commander Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani has said that Army Public School and College System (APSACS) is contributing positively in enabling youth to acquire quality education.
He expressed these views while awarding certificates to the teachers for their achievements and performances according to a statement issued by ISPR here on Sunday. He said education policies and system have to be constantly monitored upgraded and developed to meet the challenges of an ever changing world. He also appreciated the teachers for their devotion and commitment towards imparting education to the youth.
At the end Corps Commander awarded certificates and trophies to principals and teachers. Best RC award was given to Yasmeen and Col (R) Naeem was declared best principals of the year. Best pre school award was won by Toddler Academy Peshawar while APS Mardan won the best Junior School and best Middle School Trophies. APS Risalpur won the best Senior School Trophy. Over all best School of the Year Trophy was won by APS Mardan which is winning this award from last seven years.
In FG schools category Syeda Alvia Rizvi of FG Girls School Khyber Road won the prize and Trophy for her school while Gohar Zaman of FG School Nowshera grabbed the trophy of Most Improved School. Earlier the Corps Commander was informed about the major objectives and achievements of APSACS by Regional Coordinator Azra Yasmin Paracha.
