Religious leaders to politicians: fight within legal limits

LAHORE: Renowned religious leaders of the country have appealed to the politico-religious leadership of the country to make efforts for getting out of the prevailing crises leaving aside the politics of the opposition for the sake of opposition.
“Those fighting for their ‘cause’ should limit their struggle within the constitutional parameters,” this was stated jointly by renowned religious leaders of the country, including Mufti Azam Pakistan Maulana Rafi Usmani, Maulana Saleemullah Khan, chief Jamia Farooqia, Karachi, Maulana Dr Abdul Razzaq Sikander chief Jamiatul Uloom Al Islamia, Banuri Town Karachi, Maulana Ubaidullah, chief Jamia Asharfia Lahore, Maulana Abdul Majeed, Sheikhul Hadit Jamia Islamia Babul Uloom Kehroor Pakka, Anwarul Haq, vice chief Darul Uloom Haqania, Akora Khattak, Maulana Hafiz Fazal ur Rahim Ashrafi, vice chief Jamia Asharfia Lahore, Maulana Abdul Mufti Abdur Rahim, Jamiatul Rasheed, Karachi and Maulana Hanif Jalandheri, chief Jamia Hairul Madaris Multan Tuesday.
The religious leaders were of the view that prevailing political crisis have created unrest among the whole nation and people of the whole country were worried about the future of the country. considering their moral duty, all the leaders said that Muslim brothers of the country belonging to different religio-political parties should find the way out of this crisis through dialogues.
They said as the country was fighting a war of its survival at this crucial time all the stake holders should keep unity among each others to thwart nefarious evils of anti Pakistan forces. They said democracy and politics would only be practiced if the country survived.
