Habib University board hosted a hi-tea at their Campus

Karachi: The Chancellor of Habib University, Mr. Rafiq M. Habib, hosted a hi-tea at the award winning campus of Habib University. The event invitees included the global Habib Business Board who got the opportunity to interact with Habib University’s leadership and faculty members. The formal proceedings of the event commenced with campus tours for the guests and ended with a presentation by Habib University’s President Mr. Wasif Rizvi who spoke about the world class learning spaces and how the university’s built structure synergizes with the liberal arts and sciences academic model.
Habib University’s iconic Campus is spread over 6.35 acres. The designs and construction have been reviewed by a team of international and national renowned experts who have worked closely with the architectural team of Ahed Associates, Pakistan. In 2010 the Habib University campus design won the Merit Award for Excellence in Planning for New Campus from the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), a US based organization established in 1965.
While describing the campus, the Chancellor, Mr. Habib said, “The philosophy of the campus was to create a space to engage and inspire people. The Habib University campus is designed to create an environment conducive to learning, relationship building, team work, and bringing positive change.”**
